Hewn Architectural Studio is a merger between two leading Central Illinois firms: Workbench and Scharnett. Founded in 2016 by Kyle Glandon, Workbench quickly earned acclaim for innovative designs. Similarly, after 5 years alongside legendary architect Russel Francois, Paul Scharnett became the firm’s owner in 2019, adding his expertise and creative vision to a portfolio that dated back to Arthur Pillsbury.
